Queues of trucks leaving Ukraine have quadrupled
[ad_1]
The number of trucks waiting to leave Ukraine has increased 3-4 times in recent weeks. The average waiting time for clearance for most carriers has increased to 10-15 days.
According to the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, in this situation the average cost of a flight jumped by several hundred dollars. And this, in turn, has already affected the global distribution of flights. Due to unjustified high prices, foreign companies are increasingly choosing cheaper Chinese goods over Ukrainian ones.
“Freight from the ports of China to Europe will cost $600-800 per container with a delivery time of up to 30 days. Delivery of goods from Ukraine to Europe is now almost three times more expensive and comparable in terms of waiting time. Ukrainian products began to lose competitiveness,” this is stated in the statement of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.
According to the organization, the queues formed primarily due to the incorrect operation of the eCherga system. Exactly when the situation may return to normal is not reported.
