Qualifying matches of the Asian Cup-2023 start in Bishkek

Games with the participation of the youth team of Kyrgyzstan will be held on October 5, 7 and 9 at the stadium named after D. Omurzakov at 19:30. Entrance to the games is free.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Football Union, the qualifying tournament for the Asian Cup-2023 among the youth teams under 17 is hosted, apart from Kyrgyzstan, by nine other countries of the world. It involves 43 teams, which are divided into ten groups. The winners of each, plus the top five runners-up, will advance to the Continental Youth Championship final in May 2023.

The youth team of Kyrgyzstan is included in group “I” along with the teams of Iran, Laos and Hong Kong. Already today, October 5, at 19:30, the first match Kyrgyzstan – Hong Kong will take place. On Friday, October 7, at 19:30, the duel between Kyrgyzstan and Iran will take place, and on Sunday, October 9, the national team of Kyrgyzstan will fight at 19:30 with the national team of Laos. Entry to all games is free.

According to the decision of the head of the coaching staff Samat Suimaliev, 26 players participated in the training camp in preparation for the matches. It:
