The parade in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War ended in Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a solemn speech and congratulated the Russians on the holiday. In his speech, the president said that a war had been unleashed against Russia, and the future of the people depended on the participants in the special operation. He stressed that Russia wants to see a peaceful and stable future. For Russia there are no unfriendly nations either in the West or in the East.
Starting his speech, the president mentioned the courage and valor of his ancestors, after which, as in the past year, he placed next to them today’s participants in the special military operation in Ukraine. A war has been unleashed against Russia again, but “we have rebuffed international terrorism,” Putin said.
“But we have repulsed international terrorism, we will protect the inhabitants of Donbass, we will ensure our security,” Putin assured.
