Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the Victory Parade, said that at the present time in the West they are creating a cult of Nazism and destroying memorials to Soviet wars.
“Now in a number of Western countries, memorials to Soviet wars are being cold-bloodedly and ruthlessly destroyed and monuments to great commanders are being demolished. Thus, they create a real cult of the Nazis and their accomplices,” Putin said.
According to him, representatives of Western countries are trying to erase the memory of true heroes and slander them. Such abuse is a kind of crime.
Earlier it was reported that Putin congratulated the people of Russia on Victory Day and stressed that this holiday is in honor of the fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who had previously defended our fatherland.
