Putin wished Armenia success in its chairmanship of the EAEU

Russia wishes Armenia a successful presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union, which will pass to this country from January 1, 2024. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about this on Monday, December 25, at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an expanded format.
Putin wished success to his Armenian colleagues and friends, and also assured that Moscow will provide Yerevan with all the necessary assistance.
The Russian leader also emphasized that interaction within the EAEU continues to develop dynamically and successfully in all key areas of integration, despite the difficult international situation.
At the same time, a number of pressing issues remain between Moscow and Yerevan. In particular, the head of the Armenian government Nikol Pashinyan accuses Russia of non-compliance with the agreement on resolving the conflict around Nagorno-Karabakh.
In addition, Armenia accused Russia of delaying arms deliveries under concluded contracts, although Deputy Defense Minister Hrachya Sargsyan assured that this won’t go to court.
