Today, January 25, Student Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin will come to Kaliningrad to visit the Emmanuel Kant Baltic Federal University and talk with students. This was announced by his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“Students will ask everything they want, the president will answer all this, and, naturally, congratulate all students in the person of Kant University students,” said the president’s press secretary. At the same time, he noted that Vladimir Putin’s trip to Kaliningrad “is not a NATO message.”

After the meeting with the students, the President will meet with the Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov and hold a meeting on the socio-economic development of the region. “We will also open an enterprise that produces panels for solar batteries in connection with VKS,” added Dmitry Peskov.

Last year, on Student’s Day, Vladimir Putin visited Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. He talked with students and got acquainted with plans for the development of the Lomonosov scientific cluster on Vorobyovy Gory.
