President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on economic issues via video link today, November 1, in the afternoon. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
“Putin is working today in Novo-Ogarevo. Towards evening, in the afternoon, he will hold a traditional meeting on economic issues, in a regular format, communication with the economic bloc and the leadership of the administration. It will be via video conference,” said Dmitry Peskov.
The Russian president’s press secretary described the meeting as “a traditional comparison of watches, an analysis of the current situation in the economy.” Vladimir Putin’s speech will be open, the rest of the meeting will be non-public, Dmitry Peskov clarified.
The meeting will also be attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, First Deputy Chairman of the Government Andrei Belousov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko, Head of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko, Presidential Aide Maxim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
