Putin will convene the Security Council on October 10

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on October 10 with members of the Security Council. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
“Tomorrow the President is scheduled to hold a meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council,” Mr. Peskov told reporters (quoted by TASS). He did not provide any other details. The President holds regular meetings with the Security Council, usually once a week.
Formerly Mr. Peskov spokethat Vladimir Putin does not plan to address the Russians in the near future.
On October 8, a truck blew up on the Krymsky bridge and a train set caught fire, resulting in the collapse of two road spans. The president instructed create a government commission to restore the bridge and investigate what happened, as well as strengthen measures to protect the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait.
