Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the participants of the 19th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum (KEF), transmits Kremlin press office. The forum takes place from 1 to 3 March.
“Representatives of authorities, the business community, expert circles from our country and a number of foreign states are again meeting in Krasnoyarsk to discuss topical problems of the comprehensive development of Siberia, and other important issues on the socio-economic agenda,” the president said.
Putin, during his greeting, noted that the rich program of the CEF is aimed at acquainting the forum participants with the rich industrial, technological, cultural and tourism potential of the Siberian regions, “with those truly unique opportunities that open up for investors.”
The head of state also stressed that the past forums attracted the attention of both Russian and foreign entrepreneurs. The agreements signed as a result of them are currently being successfully “implemented,” Putin added. The President expressed confidence that the current forum “will help improve the business climate, build up interregional and international cooperation.” At the end, the President wished fruitful work to the forum participants.
KEF-2023 runs from 1 to 3 March. This is already the 19th forum. Traditionally, the theme of KEF will be devoted to issues of development of Siberia, taking into account the current economic and geopolitical situation.
