Putin thanked diplomats for thwarting Western plans to isolate Russia

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia on the Day of the Diplomat, as evidenced by the publication on Kremlin website telegram.
In his letter, the Russian leader emphasized that, largely thanks to the efforts of domestic diplomats, they not only managed to thwart the plans of the collective West to isolate the Russian Federation, but they also managed to intensify cooperation with most members of the world community.
The head of state noted that Russia is working to develop relations with the countries of the Eurasian space, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. The President added that Russian diplomats, even in the most difficult times, being faced with severe trials, honorably fulfilled their professional duty, setting an example of patriotism and civic courage.
