Putin stressed the importance of quickly delivering food, aid and building materials to new regions

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the importance of the rapid work of border guards to pass military and civilian transport to new regions, as well as to deliver food, humanitarian aid and building materials there. This task should be carried out together with the cover of the lines “in the immediate vicinity of the combat zone.”

“It is necessary to ensure the rapid passage of both military and civilian vehicles and cargo, including food, humanitarian aid, building materials that enter the new subjects of the Federation – the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions,” said Mr. Putin in video message to the Day of the border guard.

The President of the Russian Federation called on the border guards to work closely with other units of the FSB, the army, the National Guard and regional authorities to carry out these tasks.

The border service of the FSB on the eve, May 27, informed, which since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine has recorded more than 2 thousand attacks on the border regions of Russia. The number of attacks on military, border, transport and energy infrastructure has increased.
