President Vladimir Putin considers it necessary to increase the allowances for zemstvo doctors to 2 million rubles, for nurses to 1 million rubles. He also proposed extending preferential mortgages in new regions to secondary housing.
“It is necessary, as in the Far East, to increase the allowances for zemstvo doctors to 2 million rubles, for paramedics – to 1 million rubles. It seems to me that this will be a good incentive. I will definitely talk about this with the government. The budget has been adopted, however, we can think about and formulate these decisions for the very near future,” said Mr. Putin, answering a question from the head physician of the Melitopol oncology clinic in the Zaporozhye region as part of “Results of the year”.
The President recalled that in new regions there is a preferential mortgage at 2% per annum. But the problem is that the program only applies to new housing. “And, to put it mildly, not much new housing is being built there. Therefore, it is necessary, just like in the Far East, to extend this to the secondary market,” said Mr. Putin.
The government is currently discussing subsidized mortgages for individual housing construction at a rate of 1%. It can be extended to house kits sold with a mortgage using escrow accounts.
