Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on additional social guarantees for wounded or dead civilians sent to the annexed regions – the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The document was published on the official Internet portal legal information.
In the event of the death of a seconded person, his family is entitled to a payment in the amount of 5 million rubles. The payment can be received by the spouse of the deceased, his parents and children. In case of wounding a seconded person in one of the four regions, a payment of 3 million rubles is due.
Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the inclusion of new territories in Russia on September 30 following the results of referendums.
The families of the dead servicemen are entitled to insurance and a one-time allowance in the amount of 7.421 million rubles. At the same time, in March, the president said that the wounded participants in the special military operation would receive a payment of 3 million rubles from the state, and the families of the dead servicemen – 5 million rubles.
