Putin: Russia is doing everything to ensure that the crimes of the Nazis are not repeated

On the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Vladimir Putin met with Chief Rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities Alexander Boroda.
During the meeting, the head of state said that Russia is doing everything so that the crimes of the Nazis are not repeated.
“You know our position today,” he said. “It lies in the fact that we are categorically against committing crimes of this kind to oblivion.” Putin noted that such crimes have no statute of limitations. “We are pursuing such a policy that nothing like this in the history of mankind will ever happen again,” the Russian leader emphasized.
