Relations between the Russian Federation and Iran are developing in all directions. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Samarkand.
Relations between the two countries are developing along all the vectors that “were formed over many previous years,” the Russian leader noted.
In bilateral terms, cooperation, as Putin stressed, is developing positively, and trade is growing.
The head of the Russian state recalled that on August 9, the Khayyam satellite for remote sensing of the Earth, which was built by order of Iran, was launched from Baikonur.
