Xi Jinping also raised a toast to Russia. “For the prosperity and happiness of our peoples. For the friendship of peoples from generation to generation. For the health of President Putin and all those present. Let’s drink to the bottom!” the Chinese leader said.
The menu of the second day also became known. The Chinese delegation was treated to a salad with Karelian trout and cucumbers, king crab cricket with truffle oil, borscht with stewed duck, Murmansk halibut, marbled beef steak with smoked mashed potatoes, and raspberry mousse.
The leaders had Russian-made white wine in their glasses.
