Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the heads of municipalities of the country’s constituent entities, proposed extending the international exhibition and forum “Russia” for the summer period. The President called the event a successful experiment and emphasized that the exhibition was visited by more than 4 million people.
“It’s a pity, of course, that it will end. Of course, I didn’t tell anyone, but I want to ask my colleagues to extend it at least for the summer period. More people come to Moscow,” the president said.
Vladimir Putin noted that the purpose of the exhibition was to reflect the country’s achievements over the past 20 years. “In general, our joint work has led to the following results, some of which can be shown and told at this exhibition,” the president told municipal deputies.
The international exhibition and forum “Russia” takes place at VDNKh in Moscow from November 4, 2023 to April 12. Russian regions, as well as ministries, departments, corporations and public organizations are represented in the VDNKh pavilions.
