Putin presented state awards to Russian women in the Kremlin

President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin in honor of March 8 presented state awards to Russian citizens. The awards were received by mothers of many children, medical workers, journalists, women in the military and employees of law enforcement agencies, workers in industry, agriculture and transport.
The title of “Mother Heroine” was given to Olga Strelnikova and Albina Khaidarshina. The Order of Courage is a correspondent from the Kherson region Vlada Lugovskaya, the Order of Pirogov is the head physician of a children’s hospital in the Luhansk region Lyudmila Beletskaya.
The President especially noted Mrs. Lugovskaya. In October 2022, she, as part of a group of journalists, was injured in an explosion in Melitopol – then she was 16 years old.
“The courage of the young journalist from Kherson, Vlada Andreevna Lugovskaya, is also striking, who, despite the danger, worked in close proximity to the war zone. The Order of Friendship was presented to Galina Alekseeva from the Yasnaya Polyana Museum, as well as to the Minister of Education and Science of the Zaporozhye Region, Elena Shapurova. Irina Eremina from Tulamashzavod, police colonel Olesya Loskutova, Olga Petrova, an employee of the instrument-making plant, received the medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree.
The Suvorov medal was awarded to nurse Kristina Kim, the Zhukov medal was awarded to the head of the department of the military unit of the Western Military District Tatyana Chubchenko. Flute class teacher Natalya Baterina received the Alexander Pushkin medal.
