Putin predicted the growth of trade between Russia and China by 25%

By the end of 2022, trade between Russia and China will increase by 25%, and the $200 billion mark can be reached ahead of schedule, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping via video link.
“At the end of the year, he [товарооборот] will increase by about 25%. With such dynamics, we will be able to reach the target of $200 billion by 2024 ahead of schedule,” Putin said (quote according to RIA Novosti).
The head of state stressed that despite “unfavorable external conditions, illegitimate restrictions and direct blackmail by some Western countries”, Russia and China were able to ensure record high growth rates of trade.
