Putin posthumously awarded Daria Dugina the Order of Courage

The daughter of the philosopher Alexander Dugin, Daria Dugina (Platonova), was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. She was awarded for “courage and dedication shown in the performance of professional duty.” Daria Dugina perished as a result of undermining the car on August 20.
“For courage and dedication shown in the performance of professional duty, to award the Order of Courage to Daria Alexandrovna Dugin, a correspondent for the non-public joint-stock company Tsargrad Media, Moscow (posthumously),”— reported in the Kremlin.
Daria Dugin was a follower of her father, the philosopher Alexander Dugin. She adhered to the philosophical and political theory of Eurasianism. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University, worked on the Tsargrad TV channel. After the start of the special military operation, she visited the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.
The car of Darya Dugina exploded on the evening of August 20 on the Mozhaisk highway. She was returning with her father from the Tradition festival. Alexander Dugin was supposed to go with her, but decided to go separately.
According to TASS sources, the car was blown up with 400 grams of TNT. The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a case under paragraph “e” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed in a generally dangerous way). The FSB believes that the perpetrator of the murder was a citizen of Ukraine named Natalya Vovk. According to the FSB, she allegedly arrived in Russia in July and left for Estonia after the murder.
