On June 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. This was announced by the press secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
Previously, Kadyrov in his Telegram channel published photo from the meeting with Putin. According to the head of Chechnya, on June 27 he told the head of state about the socio-political situation in the region, they discussed plans for the development of Chechnya.
“At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Vladimirovich asked me to convey my sincere congratulations to all Muslims on the occasion of the advent of the Eid al-Adha holiday (Kurban Bayram. – Vedomosti), to convey the wishes of happiness, kindness, peace and prosperity. Separately, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief asked to congratulate the soldiers serving in the NMD. I wished the brave guys success, good luck and the speedy completion of their tasks,” Kadyrov wrote.
June 28th was Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Adha (“the festival of sacrifice”). It marks the end of the pilgrimage to the sacred places of Islam. Eid al-Adha is celebrated 70 days after another important holiday for Muslims – Eid al-Adha, which this year was celebrated on April 21.
In congratulations to the Muslims of Russia, Putin noted selflessness, bravery and courage of the fighters who, during the special operation, “rely on the historical, spiritual, patriotic traditions of their ancestors” and “shoulder to shoulder with their comrades” defend Russia.
