Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov. First of all, the Russian president asked about the preparation of the region for September 1.
“We are opening 30 schools and 25 kindergartens this year. I regularly report that the Moscow Region is growing, and this year we already see 38,000 registrations plus, that is, an additional contingent of children who will go to school,”— told Mr Vorobyov.
The governor also noted that, on the instructions of Vladimir Putin, on August 17, traffic was opened in the Moscow region along MCD-3, MCD-4 is scheduled to open in September. According to him, this is one of the key decisions regarding the road transport system of the Moscow region due to the high load.
Vladimir Putin, among other things, asked the governor about the implementation of the resettlement program from emergency housing. Andrey Vorobyov noted that the authorities have completed the 2017 program and are starting the next stage, which will be accelerated, including through renovation.
In addition, Mr. Vorobyov reported on the work of the region in the direction of supporting the families of participants in the special military operation, noting that the authorities are trying to “help everyone.” “I hope that you will also, as now, personally pay the necessary attention to this, and this will be a good example for other regions too,” the head of state said.
