Putin: “Leopards” are on fire, so will the F-16s

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the planned deliveries of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. According to him, they will burn like tanks.
“Tanks, including Leopards, are on fire. F-16s will also burn. But if they are based outside of Ukraine, we will have to see how to hit them,” he said at SPIEF.
According to Putin, basing outside of Ukraine is a serious danger of drawing NATO countries into the conflict.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has not previously announced specific dates for the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
