Russian President Vladimir Putin invited representatives of the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan to take part in the next interregional forum of the two countries, which will be held in 2024 in Ufa.
“In 2024, the next interregional forum will take place in Russia, in Ufa, and we, of course, invite all of you to take part in it,” the president said.
Russian leader visits Kazakhstan at the invitation of the President of the Republic Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. They take part in the plenary session of the XIX Forum of Interregional Cooperation via video link; the forum itself is held in Kostanay. The parties will also hold negotiations in a narrow and expanded format at the Akorda state residence, after which the signing of documents is planned. The Kremlin previously said that the leaders plan to discuss the development of Russian-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as current regional and international problems.
