Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the acceptance of the Zaporizhzhya NPP facilities into federal ownership. Document published on the website of legal acts. The decree states that work permits issued before September 30 to employees of the station (employees of the Ukrainian Energoatom work at it) will be valid until the issuance of the relevant permits from Russia.
In accordance with the decree, by January 1, 2028, the Russian government must ensure the transfer of the plant and its facilities to the ownership of Zaporozhye NPP Operating Organization JSC.
