Putin instructed to form an All-Russian Parents Committee – Kommersant

President Vladimir Putin instructed to form an all-Russian parent committee as part of the family competition. This is stated in list instructions from the President following his meeting with participants and winners of All-Russian family competitions.
A report on this instruction must be submitted before August 1, and then reports on this issue must be made every six months. The Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov and the General Director of the organization “Russia – the Land of Opportunities” Alexey Komissarov were appointed responsible.
Among other assignments:
- submit proposals on the acquisition by families with children of finished housing on the secondary market, located within the boundaries of settlements in which housing construction is carried out in insufficient quantities;
- proposals regarding the provision of residential premises to young and large families, whose members work in priority development areas;
- recommend that regions provide the necessary engineering infrastructure to land plots provided to large families.
2024 has been declared the Year of the Family in Russia. In January, Mr. Putin supported the idea of creating an All-Russian Parents Committee, but called for first working out the functions of the new body. In his opinion, the creation of such a committee could be useful for additional communication between the school, federal and regional authorities and the parent community.
