Russian President Vladimir Putin approved scroll instructions on issues of providing support to the mobilized and their relatives. According to the order, the monthly allowance of each mobilization officer after being enrolled in the unit will be at least 195 thousand rubles. The head of state said that the heads of regions and volunteers are responsible for providing assistance to their families.
“The Ministry of Defense of Russia, together with the Ministry of Finance of Russia, to establish for citizens of the Russian Federation called up for military service by mobilization, the amount of monetary allowance and individual payments, based on the minimum guaranteed amount of at least 195 thousand rubles per calendar month, from the date of enrollment in the lists of personnel of the military parts, including the period of preparation and education,” the text of the President’s order says.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov were appointed responsible for the implementation. The deadline for the execution of the order is November 1, 2022.
At a meeting of the Security Council, Mr. Putin pointed out problems with payments to the mobilized. “Today I signed an instruction on strict observance of the established terms and amounts of payments, they should be, let me remind you, at least 195 thousand rubles per calendar month. I will especially emphasize, including the period of training and education of personnel, ”he specified (quoted by TASS).
The President also instructed the heads of regions, together with the Popular Front, the We Are Together movement and volunteers, to take control of providing support to the families of the mobilized — “children, parents, wives, loved ones of all our defenders.”
During a meeting of the Security Council, Vladimir Putin introduced martial law in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Martial law will come into force tomorrow, October 20. To coordinate security, the President instructed create a special council headed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. In the border regions with Ukraine introduced medium response mode. In this regard, additional powers receive heads of the regions of the Chernozem region – Belgorod, Voronezh and Kursk regions – as well as the Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk and Rostov regions.
