Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to take measures to ensure stocks of the most popular drugs, including SARS. This is stated in to-do list head of state following a meeting with members of the government on January 24.
“The Ministry of Health of Russia, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, should take measures aimed at ensuring the availability of stocks of medicines most in demand by the healthcare system, including during periods of an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections,” the document says.
The report of the head of departments Mikhail Murashko and Denis Manturov should be prepared before April 1.
By the same date, the government was instructed to take additional measures of state support for organizations involved in the development, clinical research and production of medicines. This is necessary to prevent shortages due to the withdrawal of foreign pharmaceutical companies from the Russian market or the suspension of their clinical trials.
