Putin instructed to allocate funds for training advisers to school principals

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to allocate funds from the federal budget to the Ministry of Education for advisers to directors of educational organizations on education and interaction with children’s associations. A progress report must be submitted by February 1, 2024, and annually thereafter.

The order published on website Kremlin, prepared following Vladimir Putin’s visit to the Sirius educational center in October.

Since September 2022, the position of advisor to the school director for education has been introduced in 49 regions of Russia. They began working in test mode in 2021 in 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. There are plans to introduce this position in colleges in the future.

Advisors to directors are specialists with teaching experience. They are engaged in involving students in various youth associations, developing work education programs, and carrying out information and educational activities.
