President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin instructed Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko to pay a visit to the regions where the most difficult situation with forest fires is observed, as well as to report on his proposals based on the results. Putin gave such an installation during a meeting on the elimination of fires in certain territories of Russia.
“I ask Dmitry Yuryevich Grigorenko … to visit the regions where the situation is the most difficult and tense right now, to personally see what is happening there and make the necessary proposals, and report on the results,” the head of state said.
Dmitry Grigorenko was appointed chairman of the government commission, which was created to coordinate work on the localization and elimination of forest fires in the territories of individual subjects of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, Putin noted that the fight against forest fires is now difficult throughout the European continent. In this regard, he called for the attraction of large-scale resources for the elimination of fires.
