President Vladimir Putin has signed a number of laws that toughen penalties for violating conscription rules. Among them is a law that establishes fines for failure to assist military registration and enlistment offices during mobilization. Also, fines in the amount of 30 thousand rubles. provided for non-appearance at the military registration and enlistment office on the agenda without a good reason.
The law signed by the president introduces a new art. 19.38 in the Code of Administrative Offenses, which provides for administrative fines for late notification or ensuring the presence of those who are subject to mobilization, as well as for refusing to facilitate this process. Officials will be fined 60-80 thousand rubles, legal entities – 400-500 thousand rubles. The same amounts will be fined for those who did not ensure the supply of equipment in accordance with the plans for mobilization to assembly points and military units.
The President also signed a law on raising up to 30 thousand rubles. a fine for failure to appear at the military registration and enlistment office on the agenda without a good reason (Article 21.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). At present, under Art. 21.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for a fine in the amount of 500 to 3 thousand rubles. The fine for failure to report leaving Russia for more than six months or entering the country will be increased from 5,000 to 15,000 rubles. (now from 500 to 3 thousand rubles).
The fine for failure to provide lists to the military enlistment office for registration of citizens subject to initial military registration will be increased to 50 thousand rubles.
