Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his dissatisfaction with Western leaders’ comments regarding his interview with Tucker Carlson. According to Putin, the interpretation of his words in the West distorted the essence of what he said.

Putin maintains that he never stated that the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine was connected with the threat of a NATO attack on Russia.

“The fact that they are watching and listening is good. But they have distorted my words, and this is bad. They are distorting the map because I did not say anything like that: I did not say that the start of our special military operation in Ukraine is connected with the threat of a NATO attack on Russia,” the president said.
