Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with the President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall. The Kremlin press service reported this.
It is clarified that the negotiations took place on the initiative of the Senegalese side. Putin and Sall discussed cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of further development of trade, economic and investment ties. The parties confirmed their mutual commitment to intensify work in this area.
In addition, the leaders of the countries discussed the worsening of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the difficult humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
