Putin had a telephone conversation with Scholz

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, reported Kremlin press office. The conversation was initiated by Berlin.

It is specified that during the talks, Putin “explained in detail the fundamental Russian approaches to conducting a special military operation.” He drew attention to “the destructive line of Western states, including Germany, pumping up the Kyiv regime with weapons”, which hinders the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine, and also leads to “more and more bloody crimes against the civilian population” by Ukrainian nationalists. In this regard, Putin called on Scholz to reconsider his approaches in this context.

The President of Russia also drew attention to the fact that the strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian targets became a “forced and inevitable response to provocative attacks” by Kyiv against Russian civilian infrastructure, which include the sabotage on the Crimean bridge that occurred on October 8, and also the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines at the end of September.

Putin and Scholz also discussed the implementation of the grain deal, which was concluded on July 22. The leaders focused on the need for “conscientious comprehensive implementation” of the terms of the Black Sea deal, including those related to the Russian part of the supply of fertilizers to other countries.

29th of November came out the first ship with 20,000 tons of Russian fertilizer left the port of Rotterdam and headed for Malawi. Permission was received on 11 November. It was clarified that the Dutch government decided to approve the shipment after receiving a request from the UN.
