Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, transmits Kremlin press service.
As part of the conversation, the heads of state discussed preparations for the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Collective Security Council, which will be held on November 23 in Minsk.
In addition, Putin and Lukashenko discussed the current topic of “developing bilateral interaction and promoting union integration, including energy, transport and high technology.” The leaders of the countries confirmed their readiness to work together “to deepen the Russian-Belarusian strategic partnership and alliance.”
Last time Putin and Lukashenko met September 15 in Sochi. Then they discussed the situation in Ukraine, relations with the DPRK, as well as economic cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, industry and work in the field of import substitution.
