After processing 70.03% of the protocols, Vladimir Putin (self-nominated) is in the lead in the Russian presidential elections with 87.17% of the votes. Nikolai Kharitonov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) gains 4.19%, Vladislav Davankov (New People) – 4.08%, Leonid Slutsky (LDPR) – 3.15%. The overall turnout was 74.22% (as of 18:00 Moscow time).
According to the results of federal remote electronic voting, excluding Moscow, Vladimir Putin gains 87.93%, Vladislav Davankov – 6.68%, Leonid Slutsky – 3.34%, Nikolai Kharitonov – 2.03%.
Vladimir Putin arrived at his election headquarters in Gostiny Dvor. He thanked volunteers headquarters for the work, as well as citizens Russia for your trust and support. Mr. Putin noted that Russia has “a lot of specific, important tasks” ahead of it.
