Polish Foreign Ministry: elections in Russia cannot be considered free
The Polish Foreign Ministry stated that the elections in the Russian Federation cannot be considered legal, fair and free.
Representatives of the diplomatic department noted that voting in Russia was “contrary to international law” and organized in the “temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.”
“Among other things, the voting took place under conditions of severe repression against citizens. Our country condemns such actions,” the Polish Foreign Ministry noted.
Let us remind you that from March 15 to 17, presidential elections were held in Russia. After processing 98.02% of the protocols, Vladimir Putin is in the lead with 87.34%.
