The President stressed that due to the fact that this is the second terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, he is waiting for specific proposals to ensure the security of the facility.
“On my instructions, a meeting of a special government commission was held, which includes representatives of regions and federal departments. Railway traffic has already been restored on the bridge,” the head of state said.
On the night of July 17, Ukrainian surface drones attacked the Crimean Bridge, killing two people, a man and a woman, who were driving across the bridge in a car. Their minor daughter was injured.
The Investigative Committee initiated a case on the fact of the attack about a terrorist attack, which, according to the agency, was being prepared on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. In Ukraine, the damage to the Crimean bridge was called a “provocation”.
