Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday expressed condolences to the staff of the Russian State Academic Drama Theater named after Fyodor Volkov, as well as to the family and friends of Sergei Puskepalis in connection with the death of the actor.

Earlier on Tuesday it became known that the popular actor and artistic director of the Volkov Theater Sergei Puskepalis, who was 56 years old, died in a car accident in the Yaroslavl region. He traveled to Moscow in an “armored car” that he purchased for the DPR military participating in the special operation.
Together with him, the driver Alexander Sinitsyn died – the car crashed into a truck. The ICR opened a criminal case on the death of Puskepalis and Sinitsyn.
