Putin discussed with the Security Council issues of the border of the Russian shelf in the Arctic Ocean

Russian President Vladimir Putin invited the permanent members of the Security Council to discuss the external border of the country’s continental shelf in the Arctic Ocean, transmits Kremlin press office.
“Today, colleagues, we have several important issues related to both the domestic agenda and the issue of the outer border of the continental shelf of the Russian Federation in the Arctic Ocean,” the president announced.
The meeting was attended, in particular, by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino and Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev.
A week ago, the president held a meeting with members of the Security Council and discussed with them the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke during the meeting. He told the participants of the meeting about visiting the headquarters of the operation at the beginning of the week, the Kremlin noted.
