Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov. About it informs Kremlin press office.
During the conversation, the socio-economic indicators of the region, the situation in agriculture and healthcare were discussed. Questions were also raised about measures to support the participants in the special operation and their families.
“Payments to the dead – 3 million [руб.] we give to the family immediately. If the guy was not seriously injured, 500,000 [руб.]if with injuries, then a million [руб.]. If awarded a state award, then a million [руб.] pay,” Vladimirov said.
He added that in 2022 the Stavropol Territory allocated 3.8 billion rubles to support the families of military personnel. 638 million rubles were allocated to help the mobilized and their families, he specified. In response, Putin urged “not to be greedy” and continue to help families.
Vladimirov noted that a law had been passed in the Stavropol Territory, according to which the children of the participants in the special operation could study free of charge at any university if the cost of education did not exceed 200,000 rubles.
The governor also shared his impressions of the trip to the LPR. According to him, he has never seen “such devastation” anywhere. Vladimirov said that children sit in schools at old desks, which are “held by paint.” In hospitals, the head of the Stavropol Territory continued, there are no medicines or equipment. He added that the region has already spent 3.8 billion rubles. to repair infrastructure facilities, including schools and roads, in the LPR.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. In September last year, a partial mobilization took place in the country. In this regard, the Russian authorities have taken a number of measures aimed at supporting the mobilized and their families, including a lump sum payment, credit holidays and labor guarantees. Support measures also apply to military personnel and their families.
