Putin discussed with members of the Security Council the strengthening of internal stability

On August 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting via videoconference with the permanent members of the Security Council, reported in the press service of the Kremlin.
“Issues of strengthening internal stability in today’s conditions were discussed,” the report says.
Directors of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Alexander Bortnikov and Sergey Naryshkin made presentations during the meeting. In addition, Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev also presented his report.
It is specified that the meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Chairmen of the Federation Council and the State Duma Valentina Matviyenko and Vyacheslav Volodin and others.
July 21 during the meeting of the Security Council discussed course of the special operation in Ukraine. Then the president noted that the Russian command is acting professionally – soldiers and officers courageously fulfill their duty to the Motherland. He pointed out that the western equipment supplied to Kyiv, according to its tactical and technical data, is often inferior to some types of weapons of the Soviet production. According to the president, Western curators of Ukraine are disappointed with the counteroffensive, as there are no results.
In addition, issues related to the development of relations with African countries and the use of information technologies in the field of ensuring the country’s security were raised at the meeting.
