“There was a conversation about the state of affairs in the Chechen Republic. Issues related to the work of Chechen units in the course of a special military operation were discussed separately,” he said.
Peskov added that Putin also told Kadyrov what he had talked about with a native of Chechnya, Zharadat Agueva, during a meeting with the mothers of servicemen participating in a special operation in Ukraine.
In early October, Peskov stated that Kadyrov, as well as residents of the republic played an important role in the special operation. “The entire republic continues to make a very big contribution to the special military operation, very heroically and effectively,” he said.
