Putin discussed information security with the Security Council – Kommersant

Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting with the permanent members of the Security Council. According to the Kremlin’s press service, the meeting discussed work in the information space and ensuring its security.
“Today we will discuss with you the issue of work in the field of the information space in relation to ensuring the security of the Russian state in modern conditions. We all understand how important this is, especially now, it is always important, but especially now. And, bearing in mind just the specifics of the current situation, we will talk about this most important topic, ”the president says at published Kremlin video of the open part of the Security Council. Traditionally, these meetings are held in a closed format.
The President last held a public meeting on 21 July. Then the meeting discussed the military operation in Ukraine and the actions of Poland.
