Russia is not rude to anyone, but you need to respond to rudeness in your address in a mirror way, because “to live with wolves is to howl like a wolf,” President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with representatives of the aviation industry.
“If they behave with us in such a boorish way, then to live with wolves is to howl like wolves. And we are not rude to anyone. We are ready to pay, but we simply cannot collapse the aviation industry, ”said the head of state (quote according to RIA Novosti).
The President noted that Russia seeks to pay off foreign-made aircraft leased from foreign owners. He also mentioned that he had previously “strongly quarreled” with the Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev and told him that it was necessary to pay attention to the purchase of domestic equipment.
Earlier today, the head of state congratulated employees and veterans of civil aviation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the industry. He clarified that the state will pay special attention to “the development of the civil air fleet, the strengthening of interregional transport links, the improvement of the infrastructure of the complex, the opening of new, promising air routes.”
