Putin congratulated foreign heads of state on the New Year and Merry Christmas

The Kremlin press service reported on its website that Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated a number of foreign leaders on the New Year and Merry Christmas.
Among the European leaders, the head of state congratulated only Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also received congratulatory telegrams from Moscow.
In addition, according to the Kremlin press service, congratulations were sent to Vietnam, Syria, Laos, South Africa, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua.
Putin congratulated his colleagues in the post-Soviet space and some former colleagues in neighboring republics and far abroad.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian president sent a congratulatory telegram to Pope Francis.
Congratulations were not sent to the leaders of unfriendly countries.
