President Vladimir Putin telephoned the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, as well as several Crimean officials, and congratulated them on the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. This was announced by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

Vladimir Konstantinov is the chairman of the Crimean parliament, Alexey Chaly is the former governor of Sevastopol, Oleg Belaventsev is the former presidential envoy to the Crimean Federal District (March 21, 2014 – 2016).

Today, March 16, is 10 years since the referendum, as a result of which the peninsula became part of Russia. From Crimea, the agreement on the admission of the peninsula and the city of Sevastopol to Russia was signed by three people: Sergei Aksenov, Vladimir Konstantinov, Alexey Chaly (then chairman of the coordinating council for the creation of a department for ensuring the life of Crimea).
