Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing a temporary procedure for the fulfillment of obligations to certain foreign creditors. He also made changes to the procedure for payments on Russian Eurobonds, it is said in document on the legal information portal.
“Funds and securities accounted for in a type C account cannot be seized under executive documents, seized, and other interim measures cannot be taken in relation to them,” the text of the decree says.
According to the text of the document, arrest cannot be imposed on type I accounts. The changes come into force from the moment the decree is published.
