Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, during which he assessed his work as “satisfactory” and wished him good luck before the elections. About it reported on the Kremlin website.

During the meeting with the president, Moor spoke about the good rates of natural and migration growth of the population of the Tyumen region. 2022 was a record year for the region in terms of housing commissioning – about 1.4 sq. m. m per person. According to the governor, the index of agricultural production amounted to 115%, the index of manufacturing industries – 174%. Moore also told what support measures are in place in the region for military personnel and their families. Putin noted that special attention should be paid to this. The President drew Moor’s attention to the high accident rate on the roads. To which the governor promised to personally lead the regional commission on road safety.

Moore added that in the region “Sibur» launched a new project for the production of polypropylene from propylene by propane dehydrogenation with an investment of $ 3 billion. The project was supposed to start a year ago, but due to sanctions, it took time to replace equipment from unfriendly countries.
