Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ceremony of presenting state awards awarded the highest degree of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” to the acting heads of the DPR and LPR Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik. The Order of Honor was received by Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT TV channel. The honorary title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation was awarded to composer and producer Igor Matvienko.
The Orders of Courage were awarded to the head of the WarGonzo project, Semyon Pegov, Channel One correspondent Irina Sokirko, and Sergeant of the National Guard Troops Lev Makeev.
Sergey Illarioshkin, Deputy Director of the Scientific Center of Neurology, Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation, and Svetlana Smirnova, Chairman of the Board of the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia public organization, became holders of the Order of Friendship.
Sergei Fedoseev, a pipe worker from the Northern Machine-Building Enterprise, became the owner of the Order of Alexander Nevsky. Doctor of the Republican Oncological Dispensary (Republic of Tyva) Alevtina Sirazitdinova received the distinction “For mentoring”.
The title of “People’s Teacher” was awarded to the teacher of the republican lyceum-boarding school (Yakutia) Viktor Potapov, the honorary title of “Honored Doctor” to the doctor of the Regional Clinical Hospital Valentina Ignatieva. The head nurse of the Tomsk Regional Clinical Hospital, Oksana Slabovich, became an Honored Health Worker.
The honorary title “Honored Worker of Agriculture” was awarded to Olga Tambovtseva, machine milking operator at the Rechnoye farm.
The Mother Heroine Order was received by Olga Dekhtyarenko from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Tatyana Saltykova from the Moscow Region and Irina Skripko from St. Petersburg.
